I'd like to start off by introducing myself and telling you a little bit about what I'm going to be doing on my blog.
My name is Irini and I live in Greece. I'm 31 years old and I've been preparing Greek dishes since I was 7. My grandmother was famous for her cooking in her village and I owe everything I know to her. She passed away a few years ago and I keep her passion for cooking alive by preparing her dishes and teaching others to do the same. Hopefully you'll enjoy these recipes as much as I do.
I will be preparing and cooking everything as I write my blog. Sort of an interactive cooking blog. I'll be taking pictures and videos of all the steps to simplify things for even the most inexperienced chefs. Please feel free to ask any questions you have. Also, if you have any requests, go ahead and post them. We'll stick to Greek dishes for now and see where this takes us.
Hope you enjoy this as much as I know I will and maybe I can make some good E-Friends in the process. I'm very friendly and believe that there are no stupid questions. Even if your question is "How do I break open an egg?" I'll be here to answer it and won't judge anybody.
My first recipe will be posted tomorrow. An all time favorite of mine and a very popular dish worldwide. Moussaka
